CHSE To Make Changes In Plus 2 Exam Schedule: Edu Min Samir Dash
Bhubaneswar, Mar 29: The Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will make changes in the plus 2 exams schedule following the direction of School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Tuesday.
Reportedly, over objections on less gap between two consecutive exams, the education minister took such a step.
The students of 1586 colleges will appear in the Plus-2 board exams in 2022 in 1148 exam centres. Besides, the CCTVs will be installed in every exam centre, added Minister Samir Dash.
Notably, the plus 2 board exam will begin at 9 AM in view of the hot weather condition across Odisha. More than 3,20,000 students of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational stream will appear for the examination in an offline mode.
All practical examinations will be conducted internally by the Higher Secondary Schools without the externals.
The students will be assessed in two separate schemes for a paper:
- Performance of the students based on their performance only in Annual H.S .Examination.
- 80% weightage on the basis of performance in Annual H.S. Examination and 20% weightage from the performance in Quarter End Examinations.
The highest marks obtained by the students in above two schemes shall be the final mark in that particular paper.
