PM Narendra Modi meets Kantara star Rishab Shetty and KGF actor Yash in Bengaluru
Yash is inarguably one of the biggest names in Kannada cinema. The star became a household name with KGF. He is loved by many because of his stylish screen presence and dashing personality.
Now, here is some sweet news for his fans. The Rocking star met PM Narendra Modi. He was joined by Rishab Shetty, blogger Aiyyo Shraddha and Ashwini, the late Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally met Kannada actors Yash and Rishab Shetty along with a few social media influencers at Bengaluru’s Raj Bhavan on Sunday evening. The PM is in Bengaluru to inaugurate the Aero India show at Yelahanka’s air station.
Before the inauguration, he met with Kantara’s star, KGF’s actor, and Kannada film producer. The celebrities were spotted posing with PM Modi in photos that has gone viral.
While PM Modi was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama and a blue Nehru jacket, Yash was dressed in a white shirt and jeans. Ashwini was dressed in a blue saree, while social media influencer ‘Aiyyo’ Shraddha was seen wearing a blue salwar-kameez with a printed dupatta.
Popular social media influencer and YouTuber Shraddha too shared her conversation with PM Modi. Shraddha wrote, “Namashkar, yes, I met the Honorable Prime Minister of our Country. His first word to me was ‘Aiyyo!’. I am not blinking, that’s my ‘O My God, he really said that, this is really happening!!!! look. Thank you @PMOIndia.” She is popularly known as Aiyoo Shraddha to her social media followers.

The stars reportedly had a brief discussion with the PM over various issues during the dinner. PM Modi also spent some quality time and talked about movies and many other things with the Kannada stars.
Rumours suggest that Yash has requested PM Modi for a film city in Bengaluru. If PM Modi keeps Yash’s request, Bengaluru will also have a massive film city and it will be a major boost for the Kannada industry.
The year 2022 might not have seen many great movies, but Kannada movies have done exceedingly well. With the super success of Kantara, KGF, 777 Charlie and Vikrant Rona, Kannada movies are increasing their fan base and popularity.
