Minor Siblings Drown In Budhabalanga River In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: In a tragic incident, two minor siblings drowned while bathing in the Bubabalang River near Patukasasana village under Remuna police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district, today.

While one of the deceased is aged 8 years, the other is 17 years old.

According to reports, the incident took place while two brothers were bathing when they accidentally slipped into deep water and drowned. One brother died on the spot, while the other breathed his last in Beshinga Hospital.

The bodies of the victims have been sent for post-mortem. A pall of gloom descended on the village as the news about the deaths spread.
