Revealing: A silent heist of precious jewels by a civilized nation, British, from Indian royals’ treasure is baffling

From East India co  to become our rulers, it had been a long yet forced upon Odyssey by the Britishers in India then.

They gradually not numbed our psyche through divide and rule but looted us literally and one of the brightest example is the siphoning of India’s royal jewels treasure and cunningly made them royal captives till date.

The present Monarch King Charles III has somehow made his surprise known to the people after a The Guardian probe into the centuries old silent heist from the Indian kingships’  treasure houses.     

A colonial walk back into the  India Office archives, has provided new insights into the valuable gems and jewels that were acquired by the British Royal family. From one kingship to another was enormous is what the The Guardian discovery reveals after delving through a 46-page document.

This discovery, contains a detailed investigation into the origins of the Queen’s jewels.

The investigation includes references to various precious items, including an emerald-encrusted gold girdle that was originally used to adorn horses in the stables of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab. This girdle is now part of King Charles’ personal collection of royal treasures.

Now they have become the property of British owned by     King Charles III as property of the British Crown, The Guardian investigation revealed, “The report, from 1912, explains how priceless pieces, including Charles’s emerald belt, were extracted from India as trophies of conquest and later given to the then Queen Victoria .”

Can one believe that the king Ranjit Singh used to put jewels on his horses for splendor of harness have all been plundered. They are now with the monarchy under Charles III.

It is already history that Kohi Noor, one of the largest cut diamonds in the world, came into Queen Victoria’s possession after East India Company officials plunder across India.

Moreover, a pearl necklace consisting of 224 large pearls, which is also believed to have come from Ranjit Singh, was also mentioned in the document Congress MP Shashi Tharoor  had told The Guardian,  “We have finally entered an era where colonial loot and pillage is being recognised for what it really was, rather than being dressed up as the incidental spoils of some noble ‘civilising mission.’
