Bhubaneswar: The Season 16 of Indian Premiere League (IPL) is all set to start from March 31 and the IPL fever is fast hitting cricket fans across country including Odisha. Much to joy to the fans, this is for the first time that the IPL will be streamed in Odia.
As per reports, anchor Loria Mohanty from Cuttack district will host the ‘Match Centre Live’ before the match, commentator Nishant Majithia will head the IPL Odia feed as the producer. Mohanty was selected after three rounds of audition which was held last month.
The half an hour long show will have panel discussions, cricket commentary and graphics, all of which will be conducted in Odia. The panel discussions will have guests like Debashish Mohanty, Basant Mohanty and Biplab Samantray, reports added.
