BJP to sweep the Vidhan Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh: Anurag Thakur
Hamirpur : Union Information-cum-Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur expressed optimism that the BJP would once again sweep the Vidhan Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh and form the government on its own in the state, it was reported on Saturday.
A spokesman of the state unit of the party told UNI on Saturday that the Union Minister claimed that the youth wing, women and people of all classes were with the BJP due to the work of the party government under Mahant Yogi Adityanath. Thakur is in Uttar Pradesh these days as he is the co-in-charge of the state assembly elections.
The minister said that the BJP Government has worked for the people and removed Gundaraj and corruption in the state. He said that the party was working with the motto of āSabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwasā.
During the visit, the minister had discussions with various BJP functionaries and ministers in Lucknow to chalk out the strategy for the upcoming polls in Uttar Pradesh.
The Central Team under the leadership of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is discussing poll strategy with the State BJP functionaries in Lucknow and Gorakhpur during the visit.
