Noted educationist Prof Prasan Kumar Swain has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture in Odisha, officials said on Monday.
Odisha Governor and Chancellor of Universities Prof. Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof Prasan Kumar Swain as the VC of Utkal University of Culture for a period of three years.
Prof Swain is currently serving as the Head of Department of Odia at Berhampur University in the state.
Prof. Swain has 31 years of teaching experience and has authored 10 books and successfully guided 2 D.Litt, 15 Phd and 56 M.Phil scholars.
