Who said that marriages are made in heaven? There are aberrations on the earth that makes fortunes of the man and women fluctuate badly.
Such an incident which came as a real shocker for the bride side transformed into such an outrage which turned to a fitting revenge for the drunken groom least bothered about the would-be’s sentiments.
It has happened in Maharashtra where such a dismal epilogue transpired when the groom, in a state of drunkenness, went overboard dancing with the equally drunk ‘baratis’ and overshot the auspicious time to tie the knot.
It all happened in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra which taught a lesson to the groom.
Despite repeated requests by the bride’s relatives the groom himself never realised and gave a hoot to their pleadings and kept dancing.
At last the issue led to a startling eventuality when, after the bride refused to accept such a man as her would be, and her parents in order to avoid the stigma and social embarrassment chose to marry her off to another man whom they knew and the bride too.
