Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey Gifts Hockey Stick To Music Director Santosh Panda
Bhubaneswar: After listening to the Hindi song “ek naye kahani likhi hai Odisha”, former captain of Indian hockey team and Hockey India (HI) president Dilip Tirkey gifted a hockey stick to writer and music director Santosh Panda.
The song dedicated to Odisha sports is sung by famous Bollywood singer Abhijeet. It has been shot at Kalinga Stadium, KIIT Stadium, Sai International School, Mother’s Public School, Sum Hospital, Unit-1 Boys’ High School, and at various places in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.
Prepared in collaboration with The Premier Media and Eastern Bay, this song can touch the hearts of people from all walks of life and convey Odisha’s contribution to sports in a beautiful way. Internationally renowned dance troupe Prince Dance Group performed under the tutelage of Guru Krishna.
Panda has earlier performed the responsibilities as a lyricist and music director for several bhajans and commercial songs. He became the first Indian to direct the music of an English song in the Hindi movie ‘The Art of Life’.
