Bhubaneswar: A duplicate cigarette manufacturing unit was unearthed by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Infovalley Police at Alakar village under Chhatabar panchayat on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Reportedly, the factory was manufacturing duplicate cigarettes under the brand name of H-10, a Bihar-based company. The IB had conducted the raid based on a complaint lodged by the company.
Substandard materials was being used in the duplicate cigarette. The factory was sealed and its owner identified as Raja Rao, a resident of Ganjam, was apprehended.
