Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area formed over Southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Andaman Sea today morning under the influence of a cyclonic circulation.
The system is likely to gradually concentrate into a Depression over central parts of South Bay of Bengal around November 19, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
It further stated that light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, and Koraput on November 21.
