Bhubaneswar: The body of a police personnel was receovered from his government quarter at Rental Colony in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Krushna Chandra Senapati. He was a Grade-4 Employee of the SSB Battalion.
Senapati lived with his wife. After returning from duty yesterday, he had a fight with his wife over some matter. Later he slept alone in the room at night.
Today morning, he allegedly committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan with a cloth. He was rescued and rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
It is not known whether there was a family dispute or some other reason behind Senapati’s suicide. Police are investigating the incident.
