Chief Minister Approves Opening Of 36 New Police Stations in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Aug 27:The chief minister Naveen Patnaik, has given his approval for the opening of 36 new Police stations in view of the increasing population and the simultaneous administrative requirements. The CM has laid emphasis for quick opening of the new PSs in the state.
Significantly, 563 new posts are being created for the functioning of the new police stations spread over many districts of Odisha.
The new police stations shall be made by division of old police stations and up gradation of old ones for which right from Inspectors downward. 563 new posts are being created.
The setting up of the new police stations would help the department to give their services for the people.
