Once again the government of India is in an upbeat mood so far as the central government employees are concerned. A proposal is afoot that, soon there shall be a rise in the pay package of the above employees. The DA shall be pegged to raise many eyebrow.
Accordingly, the pay packages shall get a bigger boost at the month end. Reports say that the Central government may increase the DA by 5 %, then the pay package of the employees may enjoy a cushion of an increase of salary by Rs. 27,000. While the political opposition proposes to discuss inflation at all fronts including the latest wrap on the knuckle i.e GST then, the voices likely to be heard by the people is suppressed by the allegation of ‘disruption’ of the proceeding in the parliament headlined by ‘obstruction’ to smooth conduct of business in the Houses.
The NSO further harps on the Consumer Price Index which underlines inflation in many ways.

It has been a 17 months high in food items pegging itself up to 8.38% in last April. When the majority of the Indian population feel the barb.
