New Delhi : Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala on Tuesday slammed the government for rising prices, and said the country is reeling under high inflation.
“If there is BJP, there is inflation,” Surjewala said in a tweet on Tuesday.
He also said, the people are under tremendous stress due to the surge in the price of pulses and edible oil.
He shared a newspaper clipping which said, “20 per cent hike in edible oil prices in last one month”.
Edible oils have seen a sharp rise in prices in the last 6 months despite government efforts to cool off rates by reducing high tax levies.
