Mumbai, June 2 : Television actor Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have bagged Star Plus’ Smart Jodi award along with cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ actor Balraj Sayal and his wife Deepti Tuli stood at the second spot, ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’ Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami finalised the third spot.
On winning the trophy, the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor said, “I’m overjoyed to have won the title of Smart Jodi. It is a mixed feeling of excitement, happiness, and nervousness. It would not be possible without the help of my better half, Vicky. We were one and played together. We needed to win the trophy because it is a Gadbandhan, which is important in our relationship. This has made our relationship stronger. It was the best 4-month anniversary present we could gift each other. The family is ecstatic and the celebrations will be in full flow.”
Vicky Jain added, “Smart Jodi has been an adventure in and of itself. I can see how far we’ve progressed as a pair. We’ve learned so much about each other, thanks to Smart Jodi for our remarkable journey. It’s amazing how much our fans have helped us along the way with their unwavering love and support. For me and Ankita, it’s been romance ki jeet, and the lessons we’ve learned from this show will lead us down a long and happy path. Winning the trophy is the cherry on the cake in our relationship. Also, it is my small gift to Ankita on the occasion of our four-month anniversary.”
Smart Jodi started in February with 10 celebrity couples as they battled it out to win hearts with their chemistry and performance.
The shooting of the Grand Finale was completed on May 14 and will be telecast on June 5.
