Ganguly Reveals Ed-tech App
New Delhi, June 2: A day after creating a ripple with his cryptic tweet Board of Control for Cricket in India chief Sourav Ganguly on Thursday finally revealed his new venture. He will work actively as an ambassador for educational app Classplus, the BCCI top boss said.
Taking to Twitter, the former cricketer said:

He said that it is time to glorify true heroes, their coaches and educators unveiling the ed-tech start-up.
Ganguly said that he wanted to do something for all the coaches, educators, and teachers across the world.
“Starting today, I will actively work to support all of them by being their ambassador,” he said.
“I am thankful to Classplus for helping me with my vision. I hope this new initiative helps them all :),” Ganguly said.
The app is an ed-tech startup enabling educators and skill-based content creators to monetize their content with their own branded apps.
On Wednesday, the former India captain said he was “planning to start something” that will “help a lot of people”, setting off speculations on whether he may join politics.
He shared a statement on Twitter saying 2022 marks 30 years since the start of his journey with Cricket in 1992. “Since then, cricket has given me a lot. Most importantly, it has given me the support of all of you,” he said.
He thanked all who have been a part of the journey, and said, “Today, I am planning to start something that I feel will probably help a lot of people”.
“I hope you continue your support as I enter this chapter of my life”.
After hours of speculations and a storm on social media, the former India skipper clarified that he has launched a worldwide educational app. “It is a worldwide educational app (that) I have launched online,” Ganguly told the media.
The statement set off speculations that he may enter politics, even as the former cricketer did not give any details.
