Baku, June 2: India’s rifle shooter Swapnil Kusale won silver in 50m Rifle 3 position men event at the ongoing ISSF Shooting World Cup here on Thursday.
Swapnil lost 10-16 to Ukrainian Serhiy Kulish in the gold medal match.
He shot an impressive 594 to finish 2nd in the qualifications. Swapnil then scored 409.1 in the ranking stage to qualify for the gold medal match.
India has so far won two medals (one gold and a silver) so far in the tournament.
Earlier, the trio of Elavenil Valarivan, Ramita and Shreya Agrawal claimed gold medal in Women’s 10m Air Rifle Team event on Tuesday.
