Bhubaneswar: With slight increase in daily Covid-19 tally, Odisha on Thursday reported 1107 fresh Covid-19 cases informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, taking the total tally to 9,91,182. The active cases tally stands at 10,853.
A sum of 1107 fresh Covid-19 infections include 646 quarantine cases and 461 are from local contacts. The positivity rate stands at 1.70%.

Among the deceased persons, one each is from the districts of Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Nuapada, and Sundargarh; two each from Balasore and Puri; three each from Dhenkanal and Subarnapur; four each from Kendrapara and Mayurbhanj; five from Jajpur; nine from Sambalpur; 11 from Khordha; and 18 from Cuttack.
