BJP Lags Behind In Maha: Jayashree Jadhav (Cong) Leading Over BJP Rival

After third round, the Congress candidate Jayshree Jadhav was leading by 7,645 votes over his nearest rival BJP candidate Satyajeet alias Nana Kadam, an official source said.

Counting of votes began at 0800 hours this morning for Kolhapur-North assembly constituency by-election, at government godown near Rajaram tank at Sarnobatwadi near Shivaji university Kolhapur. There will be 26 rounds of counting. As many as 15 candidates are in fray. The election was necessitated following the death of Congress Mla Chandrakant Jadhav.
