New Delhi, April 10: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said with the inauguration of Seema Darshan project at Nadabet border in Banaskantha of Gujarat, a multipurpose border tourism point will instill a spirit of patriotism among visitors.
Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of Seema Darshan, Shah said Nadabet has become the first border viewing point in Gujarat where around 10 thousand visitors have already been visiting and it is expected to increase to 20 thousand footfall.
The state government has contributed Rs. 125 crore to build the project. The visitors, especially school goers get to know about the valor and the stories of the brave soldiers who made the sacrifice for the country.
At Nadabet, visitors will get the inspiration of patriotism by going to the Zero point on the border and seeing the courage and valor of the brave border guards, he added.
The Seema Darshan has begun on the line of Wagah Border pattern with a view to observe bravery of BSF Jawans. The attractions at the border viewing point will be a retreat ceremony by the BSF.
