Mumbai, April 1: The BSE Sensex on Friday regained 212 pts at 58,781.31 as buying was seen across the board. The Nifty too rose 74.30 pts at 17,539.05. The Sensex registered day’s high and low at 58,804.81 and 58,450.04 pts respectively. The Nifty registered the day’s high and low at 17,545.55 and 17,422.70 pts respectively.
The Mid Cap was up 0.79 pc and Small Cap by 1.29 pc. In 30 scrips, 25 advanced while 5 declined. The gainers were NTPC by 3.08 pc to Rs 139.10, Powergrid by 2.40 pc to Rs 222.05, Tata Steel by 2.05 pc to Rs 1333.80, IndusInd Bank by 1.49 pc to Rs 949.05 and Kotak Bank by 1.33 pc to Rs 1778. The losers were Titan by 1.31 pc to Rs 250.95, Infosys by 0.45 pc to Rs 1898.70, ICICI Bank by 0.17 pc to Rs 729 and Nestle India by 0.15 pc to Rs 17,351. UNI
