Ukrainian Body At Belarus Border For Peace Talks With Russia
Minsk/Kyiv, Feb 28: An Ukrainian delegation on Monday arrived at the border with Belarus for peace talks with Russia as the invasion by Moscow entered its fifth day.
The delegation is led by Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov and MP David Arakhamia, leader of Zelensky’s party.
“The main topic of the negotiations is an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of (Russian) troops from Ukraine,” General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on its official Facebook page.
The delegation will also include Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak, First Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Delegation to the TCG Andriy Kostin, MP Rustem Umerov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi.
