Kyiv, Feb 24: Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Thursday, said Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, and urged the world to swiftly issue sanctions against Moscow and isolate it.

“Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strikes. “This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win,” Kuleba tweeted. “The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now,” he said. He also called on the world to act immediately and issued a ‘To Do list’.

“The world must act immediately. Future of Europe and the world is at stake,” Kuleba said. His To Do List mentioned: “Devastating sanctions on Russia now, including SWIFT; fully isolate Russia by all means and in all formats; weapons, equipment for Ukraine; and financial and humanitarian assistance.”
