PM To Address Rally In Manipur Today

Imphal, Feb 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally at Heingang constituency here today. Massive security arrangements have been made for the PM’s day-long visit.

Chief Minister N Biren represents Heingang constituency. The Coordination Committee ( CorCom), an umbrella of Manipur-based insurgent outfits, has called for boycott of the visit of the Prime Minister. The Cor Com had announced that there will be total shutdown in Manipur from 1 am till the departure of the Prime Minister. The state will go to polls on Feb 28 and March 5.
