DHL Express India to deliver joy of Rakhi to customers across globe, through exclusive festive offer

Kolkata : DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider,
is spreading the festive cheer beyond borders with an exclusive offer for its customers.
DHL Express India has rolled out its Rakhi festive offer to ensure that customers can surprise
their family and friends living overseas with Rakhi & gifts to celebrate the occasion.
Starting July 26, customers can avail a minimum discount of 50% on international Rakhi and
gift shipments. The discount can be availed across the 654 DHL service points in the country
to ship international rakhi and gifts weighing 0.5 Kg to 2.5 Kg and 5 Kg, 10 Kg, 15 Kg and 20
Kg. Customers can use the special discount to send gifts such as sweets, snacks and more to
their loved ones living in other countries. The offer is valid till August 23 next, a DHL official here
said.
“The pandemic has led to an increase in virtual interactions. The festive offer is our way of
adding a little physical touch in connecting our customers with their loved ones, beyond borders.
We understand that gifting is an integral part of Rakhi celebrations, and we aim to be the team
behind our customers to make their celebration special. Through this endeavor, DHL Express
India wants to continue to provide seamless services at great prices which is in line with our
value proposition,” said Sandeep Juneja, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, DHL Express
India.
The offer has been introduced to cater to the typical rise in gifting during this season. It also
keeps in mind the significant number of Indians who stay abroad. Customers can leverage DHL Express’ access to 220 countries and territories to send their token of good wishes to family
and friends. The offer also comes with an assurance of complete shipment visibility through
proactive updates via SMS and email in order to ensure hassle free deliveries across the
