Mumbai, Feb 18 : Actor Tamannaah Bhatia on Friday started shooting for filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s “funny, heartfelt, hilarious tale”, “Babli Bouncer”. Taking to Twitter, the ‘Baahubali’ actor shared a picture from the sets with Bhandarkar and said, “Ghana intezaar kiya hai iss din ka. Jab se Madhur Bhandarkar ne Babli bouncer ke bare mein bataya, Mein toh Babli hi banngi, Aaj se shoot shuru! (In typical Haryanvi accent, Bhatia said she has waited too long for this opportunity. And ever since Bhandarkar announced the project, I have morphed into the character). The ‘Fashion’ director shared the clapboard with the caption,”My 15th film. One more unique story to be told. Welcome to the unseen world of Bouncers. A funny, heartfelt, hilarious tale. “
Meet Tamannaah Bhatia in a never seen before avatar as #BabliBouncer,” along with smiling face and raising hands emojis. ‘Babli Bouncer’ is going to be jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures. “Bach ke rehna bhaiyo aur behno… Aa rahi hai Babli Bouncer! Tamannaah Bhatia plays the beauty on duty… Babli. Ab kissi ka dil tootega ya daanth… Jawab hai sirf director Madhur Bhandarkar ke paas. Shoot for our next film #BabliBouncer begins!” Junglee Pictures said. Fox Star Studios tweeted the same. The 32-year-old actor will be seen playing role of a female bouncer, a release date is yet to be announced.
