Three-Day Music Festival In Pune From Feb 18
Pune, Feb 16: City-based Swaraninad Music Institute has organized a three-day musical programme called ‘Gangadhar Swarotsav 2022’ here from Feb 18 to 20. Organized in memory of Pandit Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare, the festival will be held at Muktangan Balranjan Kendra, Sahakarnagar.
The festival will be attended by veteran artists in the field of Indian Classical music. On the first day of the Swarotsav, Yashwant Vaishnav will perform tabla solo and will be followed by vocalist Anand Bhate. Next day, the Kedia brothers will offer a performance on a sitar and sarod and will be accompanied by Ramdas Palsule. This will be followed by a vocal recital by Amol Nisal. On the third day, a well-known vocalist Manjiri Asnare-Kelkar will perform and will be followed by Ronu Mujumdar, who will present a solo performance on flute. He will be accompanied by Arvind Azad, a release said on Wednesday.
