People Will Teach Lesson To Those Who Misled On Vaccines: Yogi
Farrukhabad, Feb 13 : Slamming the Opposition leaders for spreading misinformation amid the Covid-19 pandemic for personal political gains, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that they (opposition) will get a befitting reply from the people for misleading them. Addressing a public meeting here, Yogi said, “To further their own failed politics and nefarious agendas, the opposition tried their best to cause panic in the minds of people. They are never proud of ‘anything Indian’.
Now, the people will give them a befitting reply for playing with their precious lives and hard-earned livelihoods. “The vaccines which they defamed by terming as Modi’s vaccines and Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP) vaccines, saved the lives of people.
Now, BJP will get votes,” he added. Paying tributes to former UP CM Kalyan Singh, he said the medical college coming up in Bulandshahr will be named after him. He said that today, under ‘One District One Medical College’ scheme, medical colleges are being built in Kasganj, Etawah, Etah, Farrukhabad and Hathras. “With the setting up of these medical colleges, people here will no longer have to go to other states for treatment.
Apart from providing health care facilities, it will also become a stronghold of medical education,” he said. Attacking the opposition parties once again, Yogi said “During the Covid-19 pandemic, our government strove to save both lives and livelihoods. Where was the brother-sister (Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka) duo? Was ‘Behenji’ (BSP supremo Mayawati) present amongst you all? Only BJP worked for the people of the state.
While we provided free vaccines, free testing facilities, and free treatment, SP chief indulged in dirty gimmicks by spreading misinformation regarding the vaccine.” He also announced that a link expressway will be constructed to connect Farrukhabad with Ganga Expressway, if BJP is re-elected in the state. The CM said, “Today, our government has provided houses to more than 2.45 crore poor people, constructed more than 2.61 crore toilets as well as providing pure drinking water through ‘Har Ghar Nal’ scheme.” Attacking the former SP government, Yogi said that during their regime, there was no electricity, there were only riots. “The farmers, youth, traders and the poor remained deprived and were exploited. The women and daughters felt unsafe,” he added. Comparing the works done during the BJP government with those done in the SP regime, he said, “Attention was never paid to such basic infrastructure, such as roads, water, electricity, hospitals, schools and degree colleges in their government. Earlier, the money meant for development of the state was used to build bungalows.”
