Mumbai, Feb 6: Lata Mangeshkar was cremated with full state honours here on Sunday in the presence on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other eminent people.
Lata Mangeshkar, passed away on Sunday morning after a brief illness, was cremated at 7.20 pm at the historic Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
Apart PM Modi and her renowned family, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, CM Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar and MNS leader Raj Thackeray were also present at her cremation.
Several film and other personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, singer Anuradha Paudwal and lyricist Javed Akhtar were also among the mourners.
