‘BJP Will Cross Magic Number Post Assembly Polls In Goa’: C T Ravi
Panaji, Feb 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary C T Ravi on Saturday claimed that the party would cross magic number after assembly elections in Goa and form government on its own.
”We will cross the magic number. There is no need for a pre-poll alliance and there would not be a need for a post poll alliance as well. We have an alliance with the people of the state. It was earlier and will continue in future too,” he said while addressing a press conference in the city.
Commenting on Congress, he said, ”Everybody has the right to dream but the fact is that at the end Congress will get zero seats. All surveys are saying that BJP will form government in Goa.” To a question, he said the Congress should reduce prices of petrol and diesel in the states ruled by it first and then ask BJP what to do. He claimed that all the opposition parties were B team of Congress. Ravi said only BJP was contesting in all the 40 constituencies in the state and others were doing just ‘match fixing’. He said the BJP government would take decisions which would be in the interest of Goa as well as its neighbouring states. Goa will go for polls on February 14.
