Gorakhpur, Feb 4 : The double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried its best to fulfill every expectation in the last five years and the positive results are also in front of the people of Uttar Pradesh , said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here. CM has said this while addressing the nomination meeting organised at Maharana Pratap Inter College Ground before filing his nomination papers from the Sadar assembly constituency on Friday.
” The people of the state have got an environment of security. The benefits of development projects and welfare schemes of the government have reached the people without any discrimination, ” said the CM adding “our five-year term is in front of the public. People will evaluate our work and will contribute to the formation of BJP’s thumping majority government in the interest of the state which is progressing on the path of security, development.” Encouraging the workers, he said for five years, the BJP government and the organization together had given the result of security, development and good governance in the state. Today no one could make negative remarks about the leadership of the state and the country.
Yogi claimed that his government went beyond political rivalry to guarantee security to everyone. The poor had been benefited from welfare schemes including houses, toilets to every eligible. Asserting that the election results are foregone in the favour of BJP, the CM said in the assembly elections, every worker should himself become a symbol of BJP and go from house to house and contribute in the thumping victory of majority. Welcoming Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in the nomination meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said Mr Shah made him realise the power of BJP in UP. The organization of BJP in Uttar Pradesh was there from the very beginning but but Amit Shah contributed the most to keep it vibrant. “In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, on his own, he brought unprecedented success as the in-charge of the country’s largest state, Uttar Pradesh. By giving the BJP three-fourth seats in the 2017 assembly elections, he made the opposition parties feel the strength of the BJP, “
He pointed out. Again, the self belief of Shah saw Grand Alliance having been razed to ground in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by winning 64 seats along with the allies in UP, he said. The Chief Minister said Shah had a great contribution in establishing BJP as the largest political party in the world. In 2019, when he got the responsibility of the Home Ministry under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he gave the first gift to abolish Article 370 from Kashmir thereby eradicating the name of terrorism. CM Yogi said under the leadership of PM Modi and Home Minister was in the form of the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya.
