Mumbai, Feb 4 : Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest “Gangubai Kathiawadi” starring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn dropped trailer on Friday. “GANGUBAI ZINDABAD, Trailer out now,” Alia said sharing the trailer on Instagram that garnered over 2.37 lakh views in 36 minutes Ajay Devgn also shared the clip and said: “Bol dena sabhi ko Chaand nazar aa gaya hai.” The film is a biographical crime drama directed and produced by Bhansali. It is believed he story is an adaptation of a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queen of Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt who is playing the titular role of Ganga Harjivandas, a girl from Kathiawad who was forced to choose certain things in life. In the attention grabbing trailer, her struggles and then her rise as Gangubai is seen. The film also features Jim Sarbh of the “Padmaavat” fame. The film is set to release on February 25 in theatres.
