Bumper Offer To Anushka-Karnesh: Duo Gets 405 crore Deal to Make OTT Platform 8 Project
Mumbai: Anushka Sharma and brother Karnesh’s production house Clean Slate Filmz has backed content-oriented projects like Bulbbul, Paatal Lok.
As per a recent report, their banner has cracked a huge, 400-crore ($54 million) deal with OTT giants like Amazon and Netflix.
In the upcoming 18 months, Clean Slate Filmz will be releasing 8 films and series on these streaming platforms.
Out of these – 3 are confirmed to be Netflix projects. Amazon Prime is yet to respond to the development!
Clean Slate Filmz’s immediate upcoming projects include – the Netflix film Qala (starring Irrfan Khan’s son Babil) and the Netflix series Mai (starring Sakshi Tanwar and Raima Sen).
Anushka and her brother Karnesh Sharma co-founded ‘Clean Slate Films’ in 2013. They both run this company. Karnesh has also taken on more responsibility and is busy with film work. He has now embarked on an adventure of making 8 films.
The deal has been signed with Amazon Prime and Netflix. The agreement is to make a total of eight cinemas over the next 18 months. In return, Anushka is getting Rs 405 crore. Fans are happy to hear this.
Anushka Sharma is starring in the movie ‘Chakda Express’. The film is based on the life of cricketer Zhulan Goswami. The movie is coming to Netflix. Under ‘Clean Slate Films’, projects are ‘NH10’, ‘Pari’, ‘Patal Lok’, ‘Bull Bull’.
