Congress Announces Second List For Uttarakhand
New Delhi, Jan 24: Congress on Monday announced its second list of candidates for Uttarakhand. Former chief minister Harish Rawat will fight from Rampur seat. Anukriti Gusain, daughter-in-law of former Uttarakhand minister Harak Singh Rawat who recently quit BJP to join Congress, will fight from Lansdowne.
The Congress released its first list of 53 candidates for the 70 seat Uttarakhand assembly on Saturday. Polls in Uttarakhand will be held on February 14. While Congress is challenging ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also in the fray.
