Chandigarh, Jan 8: Punjab government on Saturday transferred and posted seven IPS and two PPS officers in the state with immediate effect.
Naunihal Singh has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police (CP) Jalandhar, Arun Kumar Mittal as IGP, Roopnagar Range, Dr Sukhchain Singh as CP Amritsar and Dr Nanak Singh as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurdaspur.
Alka Meena has been posted as SSP Barnala, Narinder Bhargav as SSP Ferozepur vice Harmandeep Singh Hans, who goes as Commandant, 3rd IRB, Ludhiana vice Narinder Bhargav.
Among the PPS officers, Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh has been appointed as AIG, Counter Intelligence, Punjab and in addition Commandant, RTC, PAP, Jalandhar. Kuljit Singh has been posted as Commandant, 27th Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar.
