Adelaide, Jan 8: India’s men’s doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan reached the finals of Adelaide International ATP 250 tournament here on Saturday.
The unseeded Indian duo out-classed fourth seed Bosnian-Mexican duo of Tomislav Brkic and Santiago Gonzalez 6-2 6-4 to seal their spot in the finals.
Bopanna and Ramanathan will lock horns with top seeds pair Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Brazilian Marcelo Melo in the final of the ATP 250 event.
Interestingly, Bopanna and Dodig have paired in the US Open last year in September, where the duo bowed out in the third round.
Also, Adelaide International is a lead-up event to the Australian Open, starting January 17 in Melbourne.
