Harichandanpur , Sept 20 : A delegation from the World Bank recently visited the Agricultural Production Cluster (APC) located in Ma Kalijai PG under Harichandanpur block. The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress and impact of the APC initiative, particularly focusing on women’s involvement in agriculture.
During their visit, the World Bank representatives closely observed the farming practices adopted by local women, their marketing strategies, and their overall economic conditions. The delegation interacted with the women farmers to understand their methods, challenges, and achievements.
Impressed by the success stories of the local farmers, the World Bank officials expressed their satisfaction with the progress made by the cluster. They appreciated the women-led agricultural efforts and acknowledged the positive impact of the initiative on rural livelihoods and empowerment.
