New Delhi: Justice B.R. Gavai will be the next CJI of the country. CJI Sanjib Khanna sent the recommendation to the Law Ministry. The term of the current Chief Justice Sanjib Khanna will end on 13th May. Justice Gavai will be the 52nd Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He will take oath as the next CJI of the country on 14th May. His term will be 6 months.
