Odisha Academic Calendar; Schools Will Be Closed For Summer Vacation From May 6 To June 19

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Academic calendar released. The Department of Schools and Mass Education has released the academic calendar for the current academic year. It includes working days, holidays, examination periods, etc. According to the academic calendar, schools will be closed for summer vacation from May 6 to June 19.
The OSEPA has released the academic calendar for primary and secondary classes. All district education officers have been instructed to strictly follow the academic calendar. There are 52 Sundays in the current academic year. In addition, there are 80 pujas and various holidays. An additional 2 holidays have also been kept. There are 231 working days, which means that teachers will come to school on 231 days. All district education officers have been asked to follow the academic calendar.
While there are 22 working days in April, there are 4 working days in May, 8 in June, 26 in July, and 22 working days in August. Similarly, there are 23 working days in September, 20 in October, 21 in November, 18 in December, 23 in January, 24 in February and 22 in March. On the other hand, the working hours in schools have been kept from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. On Saturdays, classes will be held from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm. In addition, it has been made mandatory for teachers to be present in the school from 10 am to 4 pm.
