Nitish Reddy created history by scoring a century, became the first Indian to do so in Australia
Nitish Reddy Test Century: The fourth Test match is being played between India and Australia at the historic cricket ground in Melbourne. In this match, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first and then scored 474 runs thanks to Steve Smith’s century. In this match, great batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant flopped badly and could not play big innings. At one time Team India had lost 7 wickets for 221 runs. After this, the strong-willed Nitish Reddy came to bat at number 8. He took time in the beginning, but once he settled on the crease, he destroyed the Australian batsmen.

Nitish Reddy scored a half-century for the first time in his Test career. After this he did not stop here, he converted his half-century into a century and brought Team India out of trouble. Reddy has become the first Indian batsman to score a century at number-8 in Test on Australian soil. No Indian player had been able to perform such a charisma before him. Now he has created a new history with his powerful batting.
Made his Test debut in the current series
Nitish Reddy made his debut in the first match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. So far, he has scored a total of 284 runs in 4 test matches for Team India. He has also played three T20 International matches for India, in which he has scored 90 runs. He has made a place in Team India by performing strongly in domestic cricket. He has 958 runs in his name in 26 first class matches. He plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL and last season he also won the Emerging Player of the Year award. He has played a total of 15 matches in IPL so far.
Star Indian batsmen have been flops
Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal came to open for the Indian team in the fourth Test against Australia. But Team India had a very bad start. When captain Rohit was out after scoring just three runs. After this, KL Rahul, who came at number three, also could not play a big innings. He scored 24 runs. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant also could not show anything special.
