Even though Pakistan is hosting the Champions Trophy, the tournament will be played on a hybrid model. That means the Indian team will not go to Pakistan to participate in the tournament but will play its matches at neutral venues. India will host the Men’s Asia Cup in 2025, which will be played in the T20 format. The 2025 Asia Cup will be the 17th edition of the Men’s Asia Cup cricket tournament, which will be played on Indian soil around the month of October. Although the schedule of this tournament has not been announced yet, India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group. Now it will be interesting to see whether the Pakistan team will come to India to participate in this tournament or this great match will be played at a neutral venue.
This tournament will help prepare for the teams qualifying for the 2026 T20 World Cup. The Indian team will host this tournament as the defending champion. A total of 6 teams will participate
A total of 6 teams will participate in Asia Cup 2025. Apart from the five full member nations of the Asian Cricket Council – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates i.e. UAE will also participate in the tournament. UAE had secured the Asia Cup ticket after winning the 2024 ACC Men’s Premier Cup.
U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025
Not only the Indian men’s team but the Indian women’s team will also be seen playing against Pakistan next year. However, this match will be played in the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025. This tournament to be held in Malaysia will start on 18 January and the final will be played on 2 February. A total of 16 teams will participate in this World Cup which have been divided into 4 groups. Even though India and Pakistan have not been placed in the same group for this tournament, there is a strong possibility of both the teams clashing in the Super-6 round.
