Home Remedies for Cracked Heels:

  • Banana: Vitamin A, B6 and C are found in banana, which help in maintaining the elasticity of the skin and keeps the skin hydrated. That means banana is a natural moisturizer which prevents the feet from becoming dry. In such a situation, mash 2 ripe bananas and make a paste. Apply this paste all over the soles. Leave it for 20 minutes and then wash the feet with water.

  • Honey: Honey is a natural antiseptic that helps heal cracked heels. It is also a good humectant which provides moisture to the skin and prevents the skin from becoming dry. Mix 1 cup of honey in a tub of warm water. Clean feet and soak them in this mixture, massaging gently for 20 minutes. Dry your feet and apply moisturizer. Do this regularly before sleeping for a few weeks.

  • Vaseline and Lemon Juice: Lemon and Vaseline easily clean dry skin and cracked feet. Soak the feet in lukewarm water for about 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon Vaseline and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply this mixture thoroughly on your heels and other parts of your feet. Wear woolen socks overnight and wash them in the morning. Do this process regularly before sleeping.

  • Rice flour, honey and vinegar: Mix 2 teaspoons of rice flour, 1 teaspoon of honey and 5-6 drops of vinegar. Make a scrub by mixing all the ingredients and making a paste. Soak your feet in lukewarm water for 10 minutes, and then use the mixture to gently scrub to remove dead skin. Repeat this process 2-3 times a week
