IND vs AUS: Rohit Sharma made a shameful record, failed in both the innings
IND vs AUS: Team India captain Rohit Sharma has performed disappointingly in the second test match against Australia. His poor form continues in Test cricket. Rohit Sharma has not been scoring runs for some time now. He was out twice in the second test match against Australia after scoring single digit scores. He missed the first Test due to the birth of his second child, but when he came back for the pink-ball Test in Adelaide, he could not do much in both innings.
Rohit Sharma failed in both innings
Rohit Sharma could not live up to the expectations for his team in Adelaide. He scored only 6 runs in the second innings and was out. He was dismissed by Pat Cummins. Cummins’ ball came from over the wicket and then remained in its line, due to which Rohit’s outside edge hit the ball and the ball hit the stump. Earlier, in the first innings also he had scored only 3 runs. In this innings he was out on the ball of Scott Boland. Rohit could not understand these swing balls of Boland and the ball hit the bat and he was caught out.
In this match, Rohit Sharma made an unwanted record by getting out twice. He has now scored single-digit scores in both innings in three Test matches, and this is the third time for him in a calendar year. Earlier, Sanath Jayasuriya and Mominul Haq have been the captains who had made the record of getting out in single digits in both the innings of Test thrice in a year. Jayasuriya did this in 2001, while Mominul Haq did this feat in 2022.
