IND vs AUS: So many changes are confirmed in the playing eleven of Team India, will Rohit Sharma be able to take this big decision?
The Indian cricket team has won the very first test match on the Australia tour, which is rarely seen. That too in the absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma. Now Rohit Sharma has joined the team and has also taken command of the team. Preparations for the second Test are also in the final stages, which will be played in Adelaide from 6 December. This will be a pink ball test, which is a day night match, hence there is excitement about this match. Meanwhile, even though the Indian team has won the first match, it will still have to tamper with its winning combination. It must be said that this is also a compulsion. But the question is whether Rohit Sharma will be able to take another big decision, about which there is a lot of discussion.
Will only KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal open for India?
Rohit Sharma is ready to captain Team India once again. But the question is that when Rohit Sharma returns, at which number will he bat? Well, he has been opening for quite some time now. But in the first match of this series, when Rohit Sharma was not there, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal started the innings in his place. Even though the pair could not hit in the first innings, they both set new records by making a partnership of more than 200 runs in the second innings. Will Rohit Sharma break this pair?
Rohit Sharma can bat at number 5
If the captain decides that only KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal will open the innings, then they will have to come to bat at number five and then six. However, Rohit Sharma started his Test career from there, so playing there will not be a new thing for him. Not only did Yashasvi Jaiswal play a long inning of 161 runs in the second innings, KL Rahul also faced 250 balls and scored 103 runs in both the innings combined.
Shubman Gill is also returning from the next test.
Shubman Gill is now out of injury. He was also seen in the practice match, which means it is almost certain that he will play the second test, he will come to bat at number three. Devdutt Padikkal was included in the team by BCCI for only one test, so his exit is certain. It is also certain that Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant will play. That means Dhruv Jurel will have to vacate the place for Rohit Sharma. If we talk about the bowling attack then there is no possibility of much change in it. Mohammad Siraj and Harshit Rana will handle the responsibility of fast bowling along with Jasprit Bumrah. Nitish Kumar Reddy will be seen performing the responsibility of the fourth fast bowler. Washington Sundar will be the only spinner, who will also help the team in batting if needed.
India’s probable playing eleven for Perth Test: Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma (captain), Rishabh Pant (wicket keeper), Washington Sundar, Nitish Reddy, Harshit Rana, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
