Siddharth Kaul announced his retirement.

Fast bowler Siddharth Kaul, who played his first international match for the Indian team in 2018, announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on the evening of 28 November. Siddharth was once counted among the most talented fast bowlers of Indian cricket, in which in the year 2008, when the Indian Under-19 team won the World Cup under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Siddharth Kaul was also a part of that match. Siddharth Kaul managed to showcase his talent in the IPL too, but in the last few years, while he has not been a part of this T20 league, his return to the Indian team has also not been seen.

Siddharth Kaul got a chance to play a total of 6 international matches

Siddharth Kaul made his debut in both ODI and T20 International in the year 2018, in which he played 3 ODI and as many T20 matches. While Siddharth could not manage to take even a single wicket in ODI, he has 4 wickets to his name in T20 International. Apart from this, Siddharth has been a part of four teams in the Indian Premier League, in which he has played for Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. During this period, Siddharth got a chance to play a total of 55 matches in the IPL and in this he managed to take 58 wickets at an average of 29.98, in which his best performance in a match was 4 wickets for 28 runs. Siddharth played his last match in the IPL in the season played in the year 2022 when he was a part of the RCB team.

Siddharth informed about his decision through a post on X.

Siddharth Kaul gave information about his retirement by posting it on social media platform Now the time has come for me to announce my retirement. I cannot express in words the support I received from all the people during this period. I don’t know what the future holds for me but this journey so far has been very good for me.
