Both these matches were to be played on 27 and 29 November at Rawalpindi Cricket Ground. Earlier, Pakistan-A had defeated the visiting team by 108 runs in the first match in Islamabad on Monday and took 1-0 lead in the series. In the first match, Pakistan A scored a total of 306 runs while batting, in response to which Sri Lanka A team was reduced to only 198 runs. Haider Ali had scored an excellent century for Pakistan-A. He had played an innings of 108 runs. He was given the Player of the Award for his excellent performance.
