New Cyclone Warning For The Bay Of Bengal: IMD
Tamil Nadu: Another cyclone is forming in the Bay of Bengal. IMD has issued a warning in this regard. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a new cyclone warning for the Bay of Bengal. It has been said that on November 23, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal.
A cyclone is likely to form over the Sumatra coast and the south Andaman Sea, causing heavy rainfall in the southern states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh in the coming days. The IMD said that the cyclone will move west-northwestwards and affect many parts of the south Bay of Bengal in the next two days.
According to the IMD, a cyclonic circulation has been observed over the low-lying area over the Comerin region and its adjoining areas. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on November 21 and 25.
