Strong test team announced for South Africa tour, after 2 years the team remembered this player
The Indian team will start the Test series in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy from November 22 in Perth. After the end of this first Test match, the Sri Lankan team will start a 2-match Test series on the South Africa tour. Sri Lanka has announced its team for this series. The first Test match between Sri Lanka and South Africa will be played in Durban from 27 November. After this, the second test match will start at St. George Park from 5th December.
Left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya has been included in Sri Lanka’s squad for the two Test matches in South Africa. He last played a Test match two years ago. Off-spinner Nishan Peiris, who made his Test debut against New Zealand in September, has also been included. Off-spin bowling all-rounder Ramesh Mendis has not got a place in the team. Mendis was overlooked despite taking 6 wickets in his only Test match this year.

Temba Bavuma returns to the team
Host South Africa has also announced its team for this test series. Temba Bavuma has returned to the team as captain. He has recovered from the left elbow injury that ruled him out during the recent Test tour of Bangladesh. All-rounder Marco Jansson and fast bowler Gerald Coetzee return to the Test team for the first time since the Test series against India last summer.
