How to make Rava Upma?

If you want to keep your health strong then you should start your day with a healthy breakfast. Rich in fiber, Rava Upma can prove to be very beneficial for your gut health. By eating Rava Upma early in the morning, you will be able to feel energetic throughout the day. To make this, neither will it take you much time nor will you need fancy ingredients. Let us know about the very easy way to make Rava Upma.

First step- To make Rava Upma, add 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and heat it. After this, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida in hot oil.

Second step- Now in the same pan, you have to add one finely chopped onion, one finely chopped green chilli and one inch grated ginger and fry them till they turn golden.

Third step- After this, you have to add half cup peas, half cup finely chopped carrots and one-fourth cup washed moong dal in the pan and fry them for about 2-3 minutes.

Fourth step- Now add half spoon turmeric powder, half spoon coriander powder, one-fourth spoon garam masala and salt in this pan and mix everything well.

Fifth step- After this, you have to put one cup of rava in the pan and fry it till it turns golden. Now add 2 cups of water in this pan and slow down the gas flame.

Sixth step- Cover the pan and let the water from Rava Upma drain. You have to cover the pan and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes. Now turn off the gas and add finely chopped coriander and lemon juice to it.

Your Rava Upma is ready to serve. Believe me, this recipe of Rava Upma will be liked not only by children but also by adults.
